10 Crochet & Craft Sites You Should Follow

I have compiled a list of some of the BEST blogs/websites to follow. These sites are full of amazing FREE craft projects and tons of inspiration! This is by no means a complete list of all the wonderful talent out there, nor are they in any certain order, but these are some of my most frequented sites that I think everyone should be checking out!

1. Moogly - Tamara is amazing. Her blog is full of beautiful crochet designs and helpful tutorials. She also does great product reviews with giveaways; totally awesome and so very inspirational! Although I am head over heels in love with all that she offers, her Artfully Simply Infinity Scarf is at the top of my list!

2. Cre8tion Crochet - Lorene is another fantastic crochet designer. She has both free and paid patterns. Her focus is mostly on garments, but she does have some other designs as well. Among Lorene's many beautiful patterns you will find the Saffron Sweet Shawl which is one of my favs! I recently started as a design contributor to her blog and I couldn't be more excited about this new venture!! I'm flattered that she would have me!

3. Repeat Crafter Me - Sarah brings many crafty elements to the table. Her tagline is" Crafting, Crocheting, and Crockpoting" and she comes up with awesome new ideas in all those categories! I would say she is more child focused; her crafty/crochet designs are "cutesy" and her foods are something even my kids would eat! The design that brought me to following her is Penguin Hat and afterwards I couldn't stay away! She's very creative!

4. Frogging Along - Sheri is definitely one of the most creative and talented women I have come across. She works mostly in crochet, but recently has embarked on paper craft templates and they are FAB-U-LOUS! I really have a hard time deciding what is my favorite from her, but one of my tops is the new Crafter's Journal! I am constantly forgetting one element of the designing process, so this free printable is absolutely the best thing to have!

5. Happy Hour Projects - Adrianne has a lot of fun and easy crafts that can be done in an hour or less! This is the perfect page to follow if you're looking for a creative outlet during your kid's nap times. Of course the name of her blog always makes me think of the "real" happy hour and for the most part, these crafts could totally be done while you're sipping on a margarita, like this Easy Leather Connector Bracelet.Win-win!

6. Skip To My Lou - Cindy is a craft dabbler. She crochets, papercrafts, cooks, and much more. There is no shortage of great ideas and inspiration here. One of my favorite things I have found on her page is the Advent Calendar For Boys. I love to gift handmade, but it can be pretty tough to make something boys would love, especially with teenage boys like mine, but this totally hits the mark!

7. One Dog Woof - ChiWei does a lot of crochet or yarn based crafts. She also has a lot of great tutorials and tips, which I am in love with. One of my favorite crafts she has come out with is the Yarn Ball Magnets! I am ALWAYS looking for fun things to do with my left over yarn scraps and these are not just fun to have at home, but they would be perfect for craft fairs and gifts!

8. Petals to Picots - Kara offers mostly crochet patterns, both free and paid, but also has a few knitting patterns. She also offers some fantastic crochet lessons and tutorials. I found her work while searching for crochet 4th of July patterns and her American Flag Wreath pattern came up. It's still one of my favorite Americana patterns!!

9. Probably Crafting - Becka is a mommy blogger with her main focus on kids crafts. She has ideas for sewing, crochet, cooking, and just general DIY crafts that all can be enjoyed by children. The thing I love most about her site is that the crafts are perfect for younger children, including preschool age, which excites me because crafting is the perfect teaching and bonding tool for littles. I especially love this Macaroni Art Splatter Paint idea because it's cheap, easy, and kids of all ages would have a blast! Seriously, I can so see my 14 year old doing it!

10. Fiber Flux - Jennifer is a crocheter and knitter with lots of great patterns and tutorials in both mediums. Her designs are adult wearables for the most part and they are absolutely gorgeous. My absolute favorite is her Beach Glass Crochet Necklace! I will definitely be making one of these soon!

I hope you have found some new pages and loads of inspiration for your next crafty venture!

Thanks for stopping by!
