Granite Stitch Hat & Cowl Set

When I discovered the new Caron X Pantone yarn, I fell in love.

I didn't actually discover this yarn. My husband had stopped at Michael's to get me a different yarn, he spotted it and sent me a picture! Isn't he the best?

As soon as I saw it, I knew I needed to have some! I had never heard of it and the colors were all so amazing.

I didn't get any during that trip through, because I needed some time to think about what colors I wanted, so he stopped back in the next day and go it for me. <3

 
I decided to go with Coconut Cream and Tree Rings, because I'm really feeling the neutral colors right now.

I had to decide what pattern to use to really show off this fabulous yarn and the beautiful shades. 

Of course something wearable was the answer. It is just too gorgeous not to wear it proudly. 

It didn't take me long to decide on the granite stitch. Obviously whatever I did was going to be striped, but I wanted it to have just a little more pop. 

So, here we have the Granite Stitch Hat & Cowl Set.
