I am so overwhelmed by my love for them right now; this is actually only one of three Watermelon Slipper designs I have sketched out! And don't even get my started on the non-slipper projects. Ha!

When I was growing up, my great grandmother always made (and wore) crochet slippers made from post stitches. They held up better than other crocheted versions, plus they are warmer in our frigid Winters (or AC cooled homes in the Summer).
I've been wanting to design a cute pair of post stitch slippers for years, but never got around to it. I'm so glad the idea popped back into my head when I decided on making this Watermelon pair.
Using mostly Front Post and Back Post Double Crochet stitches, this pair of slippers is sure to keep your feet cozy!
