I have always loved the look of Tunisian crochet, it yields some really beautiful projects,
and the technique is interesting.
I have to admit, I found it a little intimidating when I first learned about it, so I didn't try it
until just a few years ago. Even then, I only learned a couple of basic stitches and
then never really did anything with it.

Well, a few designers I follow on Instagram have been posting their finished tunisian crochet
pieces and they were so beautiful, I felt inspired to give it another try! I'm so glad I did!
With this project, I wanted to make something beginner friendly, that would allow for several
repeats of each stitch, so I could practice. I figured a long strip could easily be
folded in half to make a purse, so that's what I decided on. I hope you like it!
