Crochet Slipper Drive - Mod Mismatch Slippers

Today is the first day of the Slipper Drive. This is the second event of the Crochet Charity Drive.

13 designers bringing 14 brand new patterns, so you can make them and donate them to give someone a little handmade love and comfort!

Last fall I started a Crochet Mittens Drive where 15 designers came together to make 15 brand new patterns, so that we could donate mittens to those in need. It went very well and this made me want to do more!

I'm thrilled to present the first slipper pattern in this Crochet Charity Drive event! At the end of this pattern you will find a list of the other bloggers and when you can get their pattern.

If you're finding this pattern outside of the event, but would like to join in on the fun, click HERE!

These slippers are great for women & men alike. They are really warm, full of texture, and they even feature little “M”s (for mismatch).

Thank you so much for taking part in the Crochet Slipper Drive for charity!! This pattern has now been moved to my shops.

  1. I 'm on my third try to do the slippers-but, each time is decreasing one stitch when doing the special dc2tog. Maybe there should be a chain stitch between or so? Please take a look there fore

  2. The dc2tog is worked into the legs of the sc and not into the sc st, then the following dc works into the top of the next sc (not in the legs). Then you essentially "skip" the next sc st and work into the legs of it instead. Be careful that you're not working a regular dc into every sc, but every other sc only.

  3. Thanks for sharing detailed tutorial for making house slippers for women and men at home. I love the way you described different styles and patterns and I am sure you really worked hard on this. I will definitely make this cozy house slippers for my husband.
