I love projects that are not only quick to work up, but also versatile. The Spring Scarfie is exactly that. It can be doubled over and worn as a scarf or leave it long like a necklace to add a little extra style to your outfit.
It can also be worked up in any yarn and be equally as gorgeous. You can even add extra strips and create a more bulky scarf for the winter months!
Yarn Bee Hint of Silk
The instructions are all worked in one step to create each strip
You will make one strip in each color
5-dc shell: Work 5 dc's in one stitch or space.
Ch 154, dc in 4th ch from hook, sk 2, 5-dc shell, sk 2, dc, *sk 2, 5-dc shell, sk 2, dc* across to last ch, ch 3, turn project and work down opposite side of ch, dc in 1st dc, *5-dc shell in 5-dc shell space, dc in dc space* across, sl st to join in 1st ch of beginning ch 3. Fasten.
Hold all 3 strips together and fasten in place with stitches through all 3 layers at the ends. This will leave the 3 strips loose and flowing. Sew the two ends together to create a closed circle (infinity).
