I love witches, ghosts, and vampires, but nothing can possibly compare to how much spiders freak me out!
Anyway, it didn't take long before I realized that there was a super simple way to make yarn spiders!
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Cut 4-5" pieces of yarn
2. Tie a knot in the middle
3. Tie a second knot in the middle over the first knot. This will create a bigger bump in back of a small bump; you now have a head and body. Pull the legs tight & trim them to desired length.
4. Using Fabric Paint, put two small dots on the front of small knot (head) to make eyes. [read instructions on Fabric Paint bottle for drying time]
And now you have a creepy, but super simple spider!
These would make great additions to any of your Halloween decorations! Or anytime you would need a yarn spider...?
**Optional: Hot glue a string under the spider for a web look.
Are you doing the Grim challenge? What do you think of these spiders? Let me know what you think in the comments. And feel free to share your creations with me!!
